​Outside of her GP work she sits as Chair of Gippsland Primary Health Network and is a board member of the Melbourne based charity, The Piano Project.

Kate is a passionate Workplace Mental Health Consultant.  She has over 20 years’ experience in the education system working in the area of Wellbeing Leadership.  Her extensive experience is in developing and presenting a variety of Mental Health early intervention programs to increase knowledge and awareness of others in the area of mental health and family support.  Kate also worked directly with clients in a counselling and crisis management role to develop an appropriate referral pathway to access professional mental health support.

Kate is a qualified Mental Health First Aid Instructor with experience facilitating this highly regarded training course in a variety of corporate settings in both the private and public sector.  Kate has excellent communication skills and works with individuals and organisations as a Workplace Mental Health Consultant to tailor training to suit the specific needs of the business.  She engages participants in her training with her friendly personality and depth of knowledge in this field of work.  Her expertise is in the area of workplace mental health awareness, self-care, suicide awareness, family violence and work life balance solutions.

Kate has a warm and friendly personality with an engaging and passionate presentation style.  She is aware of the complex needs of others and integrates her knowledge of mental health support and the life challenges presented to us all to facilitate beneficial training in the workplace.

Meg was first introduced to meditation at the age of four years old. She returned to the practice in her teens to quell her anxious tendencies and has continued to meditate regularly ever since. In 2014, Meg took the leap from the advertising world into teaching, completing an Advanced Diploma of Yoga and Meditation Teaching with the Australian Yoga Academy. Meg’s meditation classes focus on using mindfulness techniques to connect students with the innate sense of calm within and cultivate a deeper sense of patience, acceptance and self-compassion. She teaches weekly meditation classes at some of Melbourne’s most highly regarded wellness studios, in addition to facilitating regular courses, retreats and corporate workshops

Wendy Todd is a Community Relations Officer at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service. The ‘Blood Service’ is a national organisation that is responsible for supplying the Australian community with safe, high quality blood products. Their work is only possible through the incredible donations of over half a million unpaid voluntary donors. Wendy will provide some insights on frequently asked questions such as how donated blood is used to save lives, the donation process and eligibility to donate.
